BMW has unveiled the next generation five-door 4-Series Gran Coupe. The production of the car will be set up at a plant in Munich on the same line with the 3-Series sedan and the electric i4.
After the generation change, the car increased in size and received a new vertical radiator grille with large “nostrils”. For the first time, such a solution was demonstrated at the Concept 4. The company previously explained that the “nostrils” are not only an aesthetic function – they are designed to supply additional air to the powerful engines of the car.
Also, the car was equipped with LED headlights with U-shaped graphics, and BMW Laserlight laser optics are available as an option. Also, the 4-Series Gran Coupe received LED lights, a spoiler and alloy wheels with a diameter of 18 to 20 inches.
The car was built on the modular CLAR platform. The weight distribution along the axes is ideal – 50:50. The luggage compartment is 470 liters. The drag coefficient is 0.26. A head-up display, a panoramic sunroof are available to the driver. Wireless charger for smartphone. Advanced navigation system, digital instrument cluster, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go and Harman / Kardon Surround Sound systems.
