The flagship eight-seater crossover Kia Telluride, which won the title of “World Car of the Year”, has been updated for the first time in its history.
Kia has unveiled the updated Telluride flagship crossover, which has undergone the first modernization in its history. The model received a slightly changed appearance and an expanded list of basic equipment.
The new version of the Kia Telluride has a slightly different grille “smile of the tiger”. In addition, new corporate logos of the South Korean brand have appeared on the front and back – large letters in a capital style connected together.
As for the interior, a 10.25-inch touchscreen display of the multimedia complex was added to the initial configurations of the LX and S, replacing the previous 8-inch screen. In addition, the basic equipment of all versions includes intelligent cruise control, which also works on the basis of GPS navigation data. For example, electronics will automatically slow down the car as it approaches tight corners on the track.
The technical component has not changed. The Kia Telluride is available with an uncontested 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine that develops 295 hp. and 355 Nm of torque. The motor works in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The crossover is available with both front and all-wheel drive.
The eight-seat Kia Telluride crossover was unveiled in early 2019 at the Detroit Auto Show. In April 2020, the model won the World Car of the Year title.
